The senior students will publish work spanning a variety of Key Learning Areas such as English, HSIE, Science and Technology and Visual Arts.
This term the senior students are studying an integrated unit exploring Antarctica - the freezing continent. In this unit, the students will locate Antarctica on a world map and describe its physical features. They will identify the reasons why people are interested in the Antarctic and they will research a special activity that has, or continues to take place on this continent. The students will become familiar with documents such as The Antarctic Treaty and will identify environmental issues that affect the Antarctic.
