Mrs Yvonne Quinlan is the school's computer coordinator. The school has a school computer laboratory which consists of 30 computers to supplement classroom computers. The laboratory has been refurbished in 2006. The refurbishment included new furniture, painting, blinds, the installation of an interactive whiteboard as well as air-conditioning.
All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 regularly go to the computer laboratory and undertake a diverse range of computer related activities. An updated technology syllabus was implemented in 2006. The syllabus encourages students to expand their knowledge on a wide range of applications including graphic modeling, MS WORD, MS Excel and MS Power Point. The program also requires students to make use of various Internet based resources to complete allotted tasks.
Presently, we have six interactive whiteboards installed in classrooms across both campuses. The P&C and our parent community are working towards purchasing additional interactive whiteboards for the middle and junior school through their fundraising efforts in 2008.
